Efua NyansaRiding an elevator means your standing among your people is shifting through forces you do not control. This dream shows how the ranks of the household move when the hands of those in power are at work, rather than through your own walking or labor.
The way you move between these levels is often as sudden as a change in the wind, and you find yourself being carried to a new place without having to climb the stairs yourself. Such a dream shows that your place in the circle of your kin is being decided by the currents of the world. There is a way this movement can leave you suspended and unable to reach the ground or the roof, where you are caught in a middle space that belongs to no one. This stillness is a weight that stays with the heart. May your movement be toward the light of the gathering.
Sharing the space with another means your movement through the ranks of your people is not yours alone. When a person stands beside you in this dream, it shows that the shift in your place is woven into the lives of your kin, and your new standing is tied to the one who moves with you.
Waiting for an elevator or using an elevator shows that you are standing at the edge of a transition. This dream tells you that the change in your standing is already in motion, even while you remain still, because the mechanism of the world has already been set to carry you.
Going down in an elevator is a dream that carries the shadow of a swift slip in your reputation. This descent comes because the support you relied upon has given way, leaving you to tumble from the height you once held among your neighbors, child.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
