A year ago my husband and I saw a car driving suspiciously during an outing, so my husband turned the car around to follow it. We followed it onto a sevice road near a quarry. The road turned sharply to the left but we couldnt see that. He drove straight and slammed on the breaks sliding across gravel, finally stopping as we teetered on the quarry’s edge, knocking over scaffolding. I looked to him as he said fearfully but not loudly, “oh shit”. His wide eyes fixed ahead. Then as I said, “At least we’re together, I love you” the nose of the vehicle began to plummet towards the ground from about 8 stories up. The last thing I saw in my dream was the gravel fast approaching and my husband’s face being completely smashed in, eye ball popping out and so much blood. I woke with a gasp and the amount to horror I felt was palpable. I know we died in that dream. I have never seen him so afraid and unsure of what to do. I have never before had such a gruesome nightmare, nor have I had one since.
