Efua NyansaAn elevator moves you through the different levels of your standing among your own people. This dream shows how the neighbors and the kin see you, and it tells of how your place in the circle changes as you walk your path.
When you see this movement, you see the way your influence grows or how your footing might falter. Such shifts in rank can be heavy, for the people who know you are the ones who most clearly see when you rise or when you are lowered. A person who finds themselves losing their place in the circle often feels the weight of that change in every look they receive. Yet, when a crisis is met and you find yourself standing firm on the ground, the stability of your house is preserved. May you find your footing remains sure among those you love.
A glass elevator makes the changes in your rank visible to everyone. Because others can see your rise or your fall as it happens, you cannot hide the way your status is shifting.
The way you find yourself riding an elevator shows that your influence is widening. You are moving toward a higher vantage that allows you to see more clearly, and this growth brings a new clarity to your role within the family.
When you encounter a broken elevator, the dream shows that the way forward is blocked. This lack of movement is the result of a failure in the tools or systems you rely on to rise.
Being stuck in an elevator means you have lost the ability to move forward. This stillness is a sign that you are currently prevented from reaching the next stage of your life, child.
If you see an elevator falling, the dream shows that your stability is failing. You are experiencing a moment where your status among your people begins to slip.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
