Efua NyansaLightning striking a tree marks a moment when news or a judgment arrives to shake the foundations of what you have built. This suddenness moves through the life you share with those around you, reaching into the very roots of your house and the history of your name.
When such a thing happens in a dream, it often speaks to the way a sudden truth can alter the livelihood of a family or the standing of a lineage. We have seen that when a life is interrupted by what is unbidden, the strength of the branches is tested by the force of the sky. There is a sharpness here that can leave the soul feeling exposed, child, as if the protection of the canopy has been torn away. Yet, if the roots hold, the news serves to clear the air for a new way of standing. May the ground beneath your feet remain firm when the sky breaks.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
