Efua NyansaLightning brings a sudden news that reaches you like a flash in the dark. This dream speaks of a moment when the truth of your life is revealed without the slow turning of seasons, forcing a recognition that cannot be ignored.
When a revelation hits this hard, it changes how you stand among your kin and how you hold your place in the world. A truth that arrives this way can leave a person stunned and unable to move, or it can leave them standing tall, changed by the very force that sought to break them. You may feel the weight of this sudden clarity, child, as it settles the dust of your old ways. The truth is a fire that clears the path for what is to come. May your feet find their way to a place of peace after the storm.
Lightning striking a tree shows how this news touches the very roots of your ancestry and your livelihood. The strike falls upon the wood to show that the sudden change reaches into the house and touches everything the family has planted and grown.
Being struck by lightning is the experience of a truth so heavy it leaves you motionless. This happens because the soul cannot process such a sudden shift in one breath, and the shock of the dream is the shadow of that stillness.
Running away from lightning is the sign of a heart trying to outpace what must be heard. You seek to stay in the old shadows to avoid the light, but the dream shows that the truth is faster than the feet of a man.
The sight of lightning striking the ground or the sky turning red and purple tells you that this news will settle into the earth beneath you. This color and strike mean the sudden change is finding its home in the very world you walk.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
