Efua NyansaCigarettes are the small ways you let your spirit slip away into nothing. When you reach for these things, you are looking for a rest that never stays to hold you. This dream shows how you are trading your substance for a comfort that vanishes as soon as it is felt.
The habit of these cigarettes often marks a life where the hours are let slip away through small, repetitive actions. We see this when the energy of the household is spent on things that offer no nourishment to the soul or the kin. Such a dream warns that the vitality you carry is being poured into a vessel with a hole in the bottom. You find that the strength you need for the long walk is being used up in the small pauses of the day. The weight of this waste is a burden that the family feels in the emptiness of the common room. May your hands find more lasting things to hold.
When cigarette smoke fills the air in your dream, the truth of your situation is being hidden from your own eyes. This clouding happens because you are looking for a peace that only serves to obscure the path ahead.
To find yourself eating cigarettes in a dream is to see a hunger that is being met with something that cannot satisfy. You are trying to swallow a habit that only serves to consume you from within, child, and this shows a deep turning away from what is real.
A broken cigarette shows that the small relief you reached for has already crumbled. The tiny solace you tried to grasp is shattered, leaving you with nothing but the realization of a wasted effort.
The way you go buying cigarettes or smoking a cigarette shows how you hand over your strength for a comfort that does not last. By seeking out these small reliefs, you are participating in the depletion of your own power.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
