Efua NyansaA broken roof means the shelter of your people is failing. When the protection that covers the household is no longer whole, the strength of the family is drawn out into the open.
This dream shows a way of living where the boundaries that keep the family safe are being worn away. Such a way of behaving leads to a house where the private life of the kin is exposed to the wind and the rain. You see child, the weight of what is lost falls upon everyone under the eaves. The grief of the house is a heavy thing when the head of the home cannot keep the sky from entering. May the hands of your kin work together to find what was lost and bring the peace of a closed door back to your hearth.
An open roof changes the dream from a loss of things to a loss of privacy. It means the very center of your home is now subject to the world outside, leaving the people within without the dignity of a hidden life.
A roof with holes or a damaged roof means that what is meant to be kept is being lost in small, constant ways. These leaks turn the strength of the household into a scattered thing, because nothing can be gathered when the container is not whole.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
