Efua NyansaWinning a running race in a dream means you are grasping for a place in the world through sheer force of will. This way of moving through life often leaves the spirit breathless, as the pursuit of status or earthly prize can pull a person away from the daily work of the household. When we spend our strength trying to outpace our neighbors, we risk losing the ease of knowing where we belong among our kin.
Such a life is often spent looking over the shoulder to see who is coming up behind, rather than looking forward to the hearth. This constant striving can create a distance between you and those who would walk beside you, child, because the prize you seek does not require the hands of others to hold it. There is a heaviness in a heart that values the finish line more than the company of the journey. Still, the strength you find in your stride is a gift that can be used to support the ones you love. May your feet find a path that leads you home to a full table.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
