Dream about vomiting maggots

Vomiting maggots shows that the time of collecting small, dishonest things is passing. We see that when people hold onto what is small and unwholesome, it eventually becomes a burden that the body can no longer carry. This dream shows how the things you have allowed to settle in your life for the sake of a little ease are now demanding to be released.

The way you have dealt with what belongs to the household and what belongs to your neighbors is being cleared out. When we take from the common well to fill our own pockets with little things, we find that we are eventually filled with a sickness that we must purge. This dream is a sign that the time of holding onto these small, biting nuisances is over. The heavy side is that the process of letting go can be a bitter and unsettling thing to endure. The clearing of these things brings a lightness to the air of your home. May your hearth be clean and your spirit be at rest.

Coughing up maggots suggests that this release is not a sudden event but a slow and persistent struggle. Because the sickness comes through the breath, it means the nuisance is tied to how you speak or how you breathe within your community.

Spitting out maggots or throwing up maggots shows a more forceful and decisive rejection of what is base. This action tells you that you are casting away those people who feed on your labor without offering anything in return.
