Efua NyansaThe world is what you reach for when you seek to build a life of substance and weight. This dream shows how you walk among the things of the earth and how you gather what is material to sustain the house and the names of those who came before.
When you focus only on the striving for what can be held, you risk losing the sight of the people who walk beside you. A life lived solely for the accumulation of goods can become a wall that separates you from the warmth of the hearth. This dream warns that when your eyes are fixed only on the breadth of what you can possess, you may find yourself standing alone in a place of great abundance but no company. May your hands always be open to receive the blessings that nourish both the body and the spirit.
The dream of a dystopian world, a post-apocalyptic world, or an apocalyptic world changes the meaning of your striving by showing the ruins that remain when the earthly things are stripped away. When you see the world in such a state, the dream reveals that what you build without a soul is destined to crumble into dust. It is in these broken places that you, child, might see that only the ties between people endure the falling of the walls.
You find yourself saving the world or facing the end of the world when the dream turns your focus toward the great things that stand above your own small labors. These dreams show that the material things you guard are fragile when the foundations of everything you know are shaken. Such a weight can be a heavy burden, for it suggests that the very ground you stand on is not as certain as you once believed.
An asteroid hitting the earth brings a sudden and violent change that no amount of preparation can soften. This dream tells you that a shock is coming from a distance, one that strikes with a force that demands a reckoning with what is real.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
