Efua NyansaSomeone hurting a cat is a sign of how you are bruising an aloof nature within your own circle. The way you handle those who walk near you without making a sound is changing the spirit of your home. When we strike at the one who only watches, we lose the small truths that keep a house from falling.
Such an action is often born from a restless spirit that seeks to dominate what it does not fully understand. We see that when the gentle or the cunning is met with force, the bond of trust is replaced by a sharp and reactive energy. This tension among your people is the weight of a spirit that has lost its way. The quiet ones carry the stories of those who came before.
The strength of your kin is found in how you protect the small and the watchful. May your hands bring only rest to the spirits that dwell beside you.
A cat being killed by a dog, a snake, or another animal, or the act of someone killing cats, shows a larger struggle where one force is being completely erased by another. This movement in the dream means that a way of living is being cut down by a more aggressive or predatory habit. When the watchful is consumed by the biting or the striking, the ability to see clearly within the family is lost to the hunger of a more violent impulse.
Killing a black cat changes the direction of the dream by adding the end of a specific deceit. It means that while the act of hurting is present, it serves to finally silence a shadow or a falsehood that has been lingering in the dark.
Biting a cat shows that you are attempting to master a wilder part of your own nature through a direct encounter. You are meeting a clever and difficult part of yourself with a force that leaves a bitter taste.
Eating a cat suggests that you are trying to internalize a sharp, protective instinct. It tells us that the way you handle these tensions is moving toward a way of absorbing the very qualities you once found difficult to live with.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
