Efua NyansaSleep paralysis comes to you as a sudden weight that holds you fast against those who mean you harm. This dream marks a time when you feel you cannot move to protect your own house or stand up for your name among your people.
When we find ourselves unable to struggle against what binds us, we often feel the eyes of those who wait for our fall. Such a dream shows that you are facing a pressure that makes you feel small and powerless in your own skin. There is a heaviness in the way you carry yourself before your kin, child, as if the strength you once knew has been stolen while you rested. This stillness is the shadow of a conflict you cannot yet reach with your hands.
The strength you find in breaking free from the weight is a sign of the spirit renewing its power. This movement brings a quickening to your blood that allows you to stand tall once more among your neighbors.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
