Dream about slavery

Slavery is a weight that crushes the spirit of the household and pulls the people apart. When one carries a burden that is not their own, they lose the rhythm of their own steps and the ability to walk beside those they love. We have seen that when a person lives under such an oppression, the ties that bind the family become frayed by the constant struggle to simply remain upright.

This heaviness settles in the bones and makes the heart turn inward, away from the warmth of the gathering. You may feel the shadow of this struggle pressing against your life, child, as it isolates you from the very people who would lift you. If you find yourself under such a yoke, the strength of your kin is what remains to be found. The peace of the home is a thing that is often lost when the spirit is bound. May the light of a new morning find you walking free among your own.

The dream of escaping slavery turns the crushing pressure into a path of deliverance. Because you are moving away from that which holds you down, the meaning shifts from the weight itself to the moment the soul begins to breathe again. This movement brings a sudden lightness to the house, and the people around you find their own strength renewed as you find yours.
