Dream about shaving

Shaving is the act of shedding what you have worn for a long time to prepare for a new way of being seen. We see this as a way of clearing the path so that the true self can meet the eyes of the household without any old layers standing in the way.

When you go through this dream, you are stripping away the things that have become a mask or a heavy weight. It is a movement toward a state of being ready, where you stand before your people with nothing to hide and no old habits to shield you. You are finding the skin that was always there, child, beneath all that has grown over it. This process brings a clarity to how you walk among those you love.

The strength of your stride is what is being cleared, for shaving legs removes the thicket that slows your movement in the world. This clearing lets you walk with a lightness that makes your way through the day more sure.

Shaving legs clears the way for your strength to move without being caught or slowed. We find that when the thicket is removed, the path you walk becomes open and your journey through the world stays firm.

The hands of another or the blade itself work to bring about a state where you stand open to the eyes of your people. Whether you are the one holding the tool or the one receiving the cut, the dream shows a transition where you are being made anew by letting go of the visible layers that no longer serve your place in the circle.
