Efua NyansaRunning into an ex means that a thread from a previous life has not been fully cut, pulling your attention back to what was left behind. This dream shows how the ways we ended things with others still shape the way we walk among our neighbors and kin today. When we leave a door ajar, the wind from the old house continues to blow through the rooms of the new one.
You find that these encounters are not mere accidents, but signs that the settling of old accounts is still required for the peace of your household. A person who carries the weight of an unspoken word finds that the path ahead is never quite straight. We see that the ghosts of former ties can sit at the table with the living, demanding a place in the current order. This dream marks a moment where the past reaches out to claim its due.
The shadows of these old bonds are present, and they may pull at your heart when you seek to stand firm in your current place. May the light of what is known settle well in your bones and keep your footing sure upon the earth.
Meeting up with an ex, reconnecting with an ex, or catching up with an ex all point to a conscious effort to face what was once abandoned. These dreams change the suddenness of the encounter into a deliberate movement toward resolution, suggesting that the time for settling these debts is now being summoned by your own will.
Bumping into an ex adds the weight of an unexpected collision to the dream, which shows how the past can strike you when you are most unguarded. It is the way a sudden stone in the path trips a traveler, forcing a stop that was not planned.
Visiting an ex means you have walked back into the old courtyard to see if the shadows there have finally grown still. You are stepping into the very room where an old grief was once held.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
