Efua NyansaReceiving a bag in a dream is the act of taking a load that belongs to the life you share with those around you. This burden is often made of the things kept hidden or the goods gathered through many seasons of labor. When you accept what is handed to you, you are accepting the weight of what has been accumulated by your kin and your neighbors.
The way you carry this weight determines how the household stands. To take up this load is to step into a role that requires you to hold what others cannot or will not carry. You become the one who holds the hidden stories and the truths that the family keeps. A heavy pack brings a certain gravity to your step, as you assume the duties that keep the circle whole. There is a risk that you may find yourself carrying more than your share, which wears down the spirit. May you find the strength of a man sitting by a low fire, and may the things you hold bring peace to your hearth.
A pink bag in your dream softens the weight of what you are taking on. This color turns the dream toward a lightness of spirit, suggesting that the things you receive are not heavy duties but are instead the gentle gifts of affection and joy that bind a family together.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
