Efua NyansaLocking doors is the way you set the boundaries of your own house and the limits of what you allow to enter your life. When you take up this work, you are deciding how the people around you may approach the threshold of your heart and your home.
The elders tell us that those who secure their entrances find a peace that allows the household to rest. By choosing what stays out and what is invited in, you create a space where the family can gather without the fear of the unexpected. Those who stand firm at their own gates find that their neighbors respect the ground they hold. A door that is firmly shut provides the safety needed for the spirit to settle. May your walls be strong and your threshold be clear.
A door that will not lock or refuses to stay shut shows that you cannot hold the gate against what comes. When the mechanism fails you, it points to a vulnerability where you cannot quite establish the defense you need, child. This lack of control can leave the household feeling exposed to the winds of change.
Trying to lock a door reveals a struggle to maintain the order you desire for your life. This effort shows that you are mindful of your boundaries, even when the world makes it difficult to keep them.
Using a key to secure the entrance shows a deliberate and certain way of protecting your peace. You act with purpose to keep your own way of life safe.
Forgetting to lock the door is a sign of a boundary left unguarded through simple neglect. This kind of slip suggests that your attention has wandered from the things that keep your inner life secure.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
