Dream about loading a gun

Loading a gun means that a sudden force or a harsh word is being prepared. This dream shows how you gather the weight of a blow, making a stillness into a readiness to strike. When we prepare such force, we often do so to settle a debt or to end a silence that has grown too heavy to bear.

A way of speaking that carries this weight can fracture the peace of a household. When we hold such a readiness within us, we risk breaking the bonds that hold our people together through the quickness of our temper. The danger is that once the strike is ready, the damage to the neighbor or the kin is often done before we can pull back. The strength of your hands is a gift to the hearth, and we see that a prepared blow leaves a void where there was once a seat at the table. May your voice be as gentle as a mother’s song, and may the walls of your home stand firm and unbroken.

In the dream of loading a gun with coins, the readiness for a sharp outburst is directed toward the small trifles of daily life. You are taking the minor earnings or the trivial chatter of the house and sharpening them into a weapon, which only serves to make a small disagreement much more dangerous. This turning of insignificant things into a sudden blow makes the sting of your words linger longer than they should among your own.
