Efua NyansaKilling a turtle in a dream means you are striking at the very quietness that protects your own soul. This is a movement that cuts through the long patience of the people who hold you, breaking the stillness that allows a person to think and to stand firm. When you act against such a thing, you find that the peace you once relied on is no longer there to shield you.
We see that this dream points to a way of behaving that severs the ties to the wisdom of those who came before. You are turning away from the slow defense that a household builds over many years, and in doing so, you leave yourself open to the winds. It is a heavy thing to see, child, when the calm of the family is broken by a hand that will not wait. The weight of this choice is felt in the silence that follows the blow.
The strength of your kin is preserved when the old ways are respected. May you find the stillness that allows your house to remain whole.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
