Efua NyansaKilling a lamb is a sign that a gentle stillness is being broken by a hand that should have protected it. We see this when someone in a house turns away from the soft ways of the heart to settle a debt or to prove a strength that does not belong to them. Such an action severs the stillness that allows a family to rest together.
When this way of behaving takes hold, the blamelessness that holds a group in trust begins to wither. You may feel the weight of a sharpness that was not there before, child, as if the very air of the courtyard has grown cold. This dream shows a loss of the gentle spirit that keeps the peace between neighbors. The goodness of the hearth is diminished when the innocent is treated as a thing to be used. May you always walk with a heart that knows how to hold the small and the soft.
A slaughtered lamb shows that the peace has already been broken and cannot be mended by simple words. This state means that the opportunity to act with mercy has already been spent, leaving only the stillness of what has been done.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
