Efua NyansaKilling a chameleon in a dream means you are ending a pattern of deceit that has lived among your kin. When one person changes their face to suit the room, the trust that holds a household together begins to fray. We have seen that those who act with such shifting hearts eventually find themselves standing alone, for no one can lean upon a shadow that moves when the light changes.
This dream shows that the time has come to sever a tie with a person who does not stand for anything. Such a way of being is a poison to the peace of the circle, and by stopping it, you protect the truth of your own house. It is a hard thing to see the mask fall, child, but you are clearing the path for those who are honest. May you find rest among people who show you their true faces at the evening fire.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
