Dream about harvesting okra

Harvesting okra means you are reaching for what is modest and enough to sustain the household. This dream shows a way of life where the small things are gathered with care so that no one in the family goes without. When you take only what is needed, the peace in the house remains and the people around you find you a reliable neighbor.

You may find that the things you grasp are hard to hold because they slip through your fingers like the very thing you seek. This dream warns that seeking a gain that is too slick or too fast can leave your hands empty and your belly hungry. Such a pursuit brings a lightness to the spirit that is not the lightness of joy, but the lightness of having nothing to lean upon. We see this in the way a man tries to catch water with a sieve, only to find himself more tired than when he began. May your hands find only what is solid and your table always be full of what is true.

Plucking okra and picking okra both show a hand that is active in the gathering of small, honest things. Because the action is done with purpose, it strengthens the meaning that you are attending to the small provisions that keep a life stable.
