Efua NyansaGetting hit with a hammer means that a hard effort or a firm decision is being thrust upon you from the outside. This dream shows how the weight of life’s requirements can fall suddenly, demanding that you find a way to stand firm when the blow lands.
When we see such a thing, we see the way a person is forced to settle a matter they have perhaps been avoiding. It is the way a sudden necessity strikes the household, much like the sound of a tool hitting an anvil in the morning, and it demands a response that is just as solid. You may feel the shock of this suddenness, child, but it is the way the world calls for a strength that is already within your reach. This sudden pressure can feel like a weight that pulls the breath from your lungs. How you answer this blow brings a firm way to your kin and to the neighbors who rely on your strength. May your footing be as certain as the earth beneath a well-built home.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
