Efua NyansaGetting a cat in a dream marks the entry of a cunning companion into your circle. This kind of presence often brings a sharpness to the way people move around one another, as if the air in the house has changed to something more watchful.
When we welcome such a creature, we often invite a way of behaving that relies on what is hidden rather than what is shown. We see this when the people around you begin to watch their words, and you find yourself wondering what is being held back behind a smile. A small, hidden malice can sit among the family like a shadow, making it difficult to know who is truly walking beside you. Such a dream is not a good sign for the peace of the hearth.
The people who belong to you find their footing once more when the masks are set aside. May your home remain a place where the light reaches every corner and every heart is known.
The arrival of more than one or the presence of a fresh creature in a dream makes the arrival of this deceit more certain. Because the newness or the number of them suggests a suddenness, you may find that the cleverness of this companion takes hold before you have even learned its name, child.
When you pay for or receive a cat as a gift in a dream, you are bringing a person of shifting loyalties into your own house. This shows that the cleverness of someone who does not truly serve you has become a part of your own life through the bonds you have chosen to keep.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
