Dream about flooding the streets

Flooding the streets means that the common way of your days has been overtaken by a rising tide of feeling. When the paths that everyone walks become submerged, the usual movement of a life is halted by what is felt. We see that when the heart overflows, the very ground of your daily walking becomes uncertain and the direction you once knew is obscured.

This dream shows that the ways you navigate your world are being swallowed by things that cannot be reasoned with. A person who tries to walk through such a deluge often finds that their old habits no longer serve them, as the waters change the shape of the land. For you, child, this means the currents of your inner life are now dictating the pace of your journey. The routes you once took with ease are now heavy with the weight of what is being felt. The path is no longer certain, and there is a risk of losing the way you have known. May the waters sink into the earth so that you and those in your house may walk on dry soil once more.

In the dream of streets flooding, your attempt to press on through the rising tide shows a heart that refuses to yield to what is being felt. Such a way of moving only meets more resistance, as if you are trying to command the water to stay its course.
