Efua NyansaFinding a bird in a dream means that news is coming to your house, and this news brings a lifting of your standing among those you live with. When we receive word that travels from a distance, it often settles the way others look upon us and the place we hold in the circle of our kin.
A message that arrives like this can change how you are seen by the elders and the neighbors alike. You may find that a name you have carried is honored more deeply, or that a position you have worked for is finally recognized by the gathering. Such news may demand more of you, as those who sit in high places must walk with a careful step. The strength of your household grows as the truth of your worth becomes known to all. May the voices of your people rise to meet you with joy.
Finding baby birds in a dream suggests that the news is still in its first breath, small and needing the care of the hearth. Because these things are new, the standing they bring is not yet firm, and you must tend to these beginnings with patience so that they may grow into something that can fly.
A lost bird in a dream changes the meaning of the news, for it is a message that has been wandering and is difficult to hold. You find that the standing you seek is delayed because the word has not yet found its way home, and child, you must wait for the path to clear before the news can settle.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
