Efua NyansaFighting a ghost means you are struggling against a memory that refuses to rest. This dream shows how a part of what has passed still reaches out to pull at your strength, demanding a reckoning that you are not yet ready to grant.
When you are fighting a ghost, you are trying to settle a matter that has no body to strike. This struggle often mirrors the way we turn against ourselves when we cannot let go of an old debt or a way of being that no longer serves the house. We find that the more we lash out at these shadows, the more we exhaust the peace of our own hearth. It is a heavy thing to carry a war with what is gone, and this fatigue can leave you feeling hollow when you should be full. The elders say that a heart spent on shadows has little left for the living, child, and this is how the past steals the present. May you find the stillness that allows the old things to finally sleep.
Fighting ghosts suggests that the weight you carry is not from one single wound but from many small, unsettled things that have gathered like dust in a dark corner. This multiplicity makes the dream a sign that your peace is being nibbled away by many different directions at once.
When you are fighting with a ghost, the dream becomes a contest of wills between you and a terror that has lived in your blood for a long time. This shift means the struggle is no longer just about clearing a path, but about how much power you still grant to the things that once kept you trembling.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
