Efua NyansaEating pencils in a dream shows how you are trying to swallow ideas that are not yet ready to be lived. You are working with things that are meant for sketching out paths rather than for walking upon them, and this habit of consuming the temporary can keep you from finding the substance of your own life.
When we take in only what is meant for study or for quick marks, we do not nourish the roots of the household. You may find that your efforts to prepare for what is coming act as a barrier to what is actually here, because you are feeding on the outline instead of the meal. This way of living leaves the spirit hungry for what is solid and true. It is a heavy thing to realize that your preparations have become your sustenance, child, and they do not offer the strength you seek.
The clarity of your intent is present in the way you nourish your mind. May your hunger find its way to the bread that lasts.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
