Efua NyansaCutting a wrist is the way you throw your own power away through your own hand. This dream shows how the very tools you use to build your life are being turned against the life they are meant to sustain.
When you use your own movement to diminish what you are, the people who depend on your labor find themselves standing in the dark. We have seen that those who strike at their own capacity to act soon find that the strength of the whole family wanes with them. There is a heaviness in the way you might be letting your own life-force leak out through small, repeated choices. May your hands find their way back to the work that honors the blood in your veins.
The dream of someone slitting their wrist shows a sudden and sharp loss of what you carry. This way of acting in a dream means a life is being emptied of its vital spark all at once, leaving you to face a void where your agency used to stand.
A dream of someone cutting their wrist shows how you are slowly letting your spirit go thin. You are seeing how a constant, smaller drain on your spirit makes you a person who can no longer hold the weight of your own responsibilities.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
