Efua NyansaCurtains in a dream mark the boundary between what is shared with the world and what is kept for the hearth. When these boundaries shift, the way you hold your own life and the secrets of your kin changes. We see that what is hidden is often as vital to the peace of the house as what is seen.
When you move to change these veils, you are deciding how much of your inner life is ready to be known by others. A dream like this shows a shift in how you protect your own. You are finding a new way to stand between your private heart and the eyes of the neighbors. It is a time when the truth of your household is being reordered, child, so that you may live with more clarity. The ways you choose to hide or show your life will determine the strength of the ties that bind you to those you love. May your walls be strong and your windows clear.
The act of washing curtains, buying curtains, or hanging curtains shows a desire to renew the way you guard your life. These dreams mean you are actively tending to the stability of your home by choosing how to present your family to the world.
A color in this dream turns the meaning toward the mood of your privacy. Blue or white curtains make the dream a sign of a calm and honest spirit, while red curtains suggest a dream where the truth is felt with a heavy and burning intensity.
Opening curtains in a dream brings the light of what is true into the room. You are letting the sun touch the corners that used to stay in the dark.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
