Efua NyansaCrickets in a dream signal the small, persistent noises that disturb the peace of a household. These sounds often name the way rumors or minor grievances move between neighbors and kin, never truly stopping but always staying just beneath the surface of daily life.
When you hear these sounds, you are feeling how the constant rubbing of tongues can wear down the patience of those under one roof. This dream often points to a time when words spoken in passing begin to weigh upon the spirit of the home. The heavy side is the way these small troubles can grow if they are not settled. May the air in your house grow calm so that your kin may rest easy.
A dream of catching crickets shows you trying to seize a rumor before it takes root in the minds of your people. You grasp at the small, moving things to keep them from nesting in the walls, child, for once they are held they can no longer wander.
The presence of black crickets makes the dream a warning of how dark talk can settle in a corner of the house. Such a color deepens the meaning of the chatter, turning a simple disturbance into a shadow that obscures the truth of your relations.
When you are eating crickets in a dream, you take the persistent chatter of the world into your own being. By this act, you have allowed the words of others to pass from the air into your own mouth and gut.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
