Dream about cleaning water

Cleaning water is the work of restoring what is vital to the household. When you tend to the source of life, you are tending to the very way your people sustain themselves. Those who pick the stones and the silt from the bottom of the jar find that their food is plentiful and their bodies are strong. This dream shows a hand reaching into the source to make it fit for use again.

Such care for the vessel of life brings a clarity to the ways of the family. By removing the grit that settles at the bottom, you allow the light to reach the depths of the home. You, child, are finding the means to clear the path for the prosperity of all who drink from your well. There is a heaviness in the silt that has gathered, but the effort to move it is what settles the peace. May your hands find the strength to make the flow pure for everyone you love.

Cleaning dirty water adds the weight of a struggle that is currently being faced. Because the source is clouded, the dream shows that the restoration of your livelihood requires a direct and difficult confrontation with what has become spoiled.

Sweeping, mopping, or simply moving water changes the effort from a deep tending to a surface labor. This indicates that the work you do to protect your livelihood is being done with haste or only in parts, which makes the clearing of your path less certain.
