Efua NyansaChasing people in a dream means you are reaching for a part of the community that has pulled away from you. This movement shows a desire to overtake what is moving too fast or what has already turned its back on the circle of your kin.
When we try to run after those who flee, we often find ourselves out of step with the very rhythm of the household we seek to join. This effort to close the distance can leave you feeling the cold air of the outside, standing apart while the others move as one. If you find yourself unable to reach them, you are experiencing a drift that separates you from the voices that should be your own.
The strength of the group is found in the walking together, not in the pursuit of those who have chosen a different path. May you find the path that leads you back to the warmth of those who call your name.
The presence of the police in a dream where they are chasing people adds a weight of reckoning to your pursuit. This is no longer a simple matter of social distance, but a struggle with the rules and the conduct that keep a community upright. You are running toward a moment where actions are measured and the order of the house is being settled.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
