Efua NyansaChasing after a car means you are struggling to keep pace with a movement that has already begun without you. This dream shows how you attempt to catch up to a way of life or a set of circumstances that is pulling away from your reach. When we try to follow a path that is no longer ours to steer, we find ourselves exhausted by the very thing we seek to rejoin.
Such a chase often reveals a distance growing between you and the people who carry your shared history. You may find yourself straining to maintain a connection to a course of affairs that is moving too fast for your current stride. This effort leaves you feeling exposed and disconnected from the strength of the household. We see that when we pursue what is receding, we lose the ground where we are most known. The distance between you and your kin grows as you reach for what is already gone. May you find the stillness that allows your own path to catch up to you.
Being left by a car changes the dream from a struggle of effort into a sudden sense of being abandoned. This state of a presence being withdrawn leaves you standing in a place where you are no longer sheltered by the momentum of the group.
Running after a car adds the weight of your own physical toil to the way things are unfolding. This movement shows that you are using your own strength to bridge a gap that is being widened by the speed of the world around you, child, and it makes the dream a matter of your own fatigue.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
