Efua NyansaCatching flies in a dream means you are trying to grasp at things that cannot be held, much like trying to gather the wind in a net. This way of acting brings you into a struggle with those who meddle in the affairs of others, drawing you into the noise of people who have no business in your household. When you spend your strength on such trivial and restless things, you find that your hands remain empty and your spirit grows weary.
We see that this habit of chasing shadows often pulls a person away from the heavy lifting at the hearth and the low voices of the elders. It is a sign that the attention which should be kept for the family is being scattered among those who only bring irritation and distraction. Such a pursuit leaves the gates of your private life open to the chatter of the world, and the heavy side is that the peace of your home becomes thin and easily broken. May the stillness of a settled house find you, and may your hands find only that which is worth keeping.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
