Efua NyansaCards are the uncertain chances we take when the way before us is not yet cleared. You find yourself standing where the outcome of a choice rests on a turn of luck rather than the strength of your own hands.
When we live by such chance, we leave behind the firm ground of the house and the ways of those who came before us. This dream points to a way of moving through the world where the footing is not firm, and such a way of being leaves the heart waiting for a wind that may never blow. There is a risk that the sudden shifts of fortune can pull a person away from the people who rely on their constancy. If you lean too heavily on what is unpredictable, the peace of your kin is also placed upon a gamble. May your hands find the work that is certain and your feet find the path that is known.
When you are playing cards in a dream, you are actively choosing to place your life upon a gamble. This movement shows that the uncertainty of the dream is no longer a shadow passing by, but a way you are choosing to engage with the world.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
