Efua NyansaBuying books is a way of seeking the covenant that binds a person to their people and their past. When you reach for these things, you are reaching for the wisdom that has been gathered by those who walked the paths before you. This dream shows a movement toward the shared truths that keep a household from drifting into the wind.
We see that when a person seeks to acquire such things, they are preparing to hold the weight of what is known. This way of behaving has often been seen to bring a person closer to the counsel of their elders, for you cannot walk a straight line without the maps they left behind. There is a risk of becoming lost in the pursuit of things that do not belong to your own blood, and this separation is a heavy thing. Yet, the wisdom you seek is already present in the way you listen to the voices of your kin, child. The gathering of this knowledge brings a steadying to the hands of everyone in your house. May your path be cleared by the light of the truths you find.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
