Efua NyansaBuying balloons is a sign of how you are reaching for things that cannot be held. We see this in the way a person seeks to gather up the air of a moment to keep it for a later time.
When you try to own these passing joys, you are acting like one who builds a house on the wind. Such a way of living brings a lightness that does not settle, and the people you belong to may find it hard to lean against your shifting spirit. The sudden loss of what you thought was yours is a weight that comes when the breath leaves the skin. You, child, are learning that the most precious things are those that do not require a string to keep them from us. May your heart find its rest in what is solid and what remains when the celebration is done.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
