Dream about burning

Burning is an intense force that spends what is there. When this force takes hold of a person, it moves through their connections to others by consuming the energy they have kept for themselves.

We see that when this force is not met with stillness, it travels through the household like a wind that does not know when to stop. It can leave the people who belong to you feeling as though the ground they stand on has been hollowed out by a fever that refuses to break. This dream is a sign that the heat you carry is moving beyond your own skin and into the lives of those you love.

What survives the fire is the strength of the hands that reach out to one another in the gray light of what is left. May your hearth always hold enough warmth to welcome the weary without consuming the house.

A dream of something burning down shows the collapse of the ways you have lived. It is the sight of a long-standing order falling apart from within, leaving you to stand amidst the wreckage of what you once thought was certain.

When you see a dream where something is burning, is being on fire, or is catching fire, you are seeing a storm of feeling that sweeps through you without permission. This fever pulls at your footing and makes the old ways of your walking feel strange and heavy.

The dream of being burned carries the weight of a spirit that has nothing left to give. It is the state of being completely emptied out, as if the very marrow of your strength has been used up by a fire that would not cease.
