Dream about breaking a chair

Breaking a chair in a dream shows a sudden shift in how you hold your place among those you live with. When the things that support a person’s standing are damaged, the way people rely on that person’s stability is also shaken. We see that when the tools of a household are neglected or fall apart, the order that keeps everyone in their proper place begins to fray.

This dream speaks of a loss of the ground you stand on when you are expected to lead or provide. Such a rupture in your station can make the people around you feel as though the old ways of sitting together are no longer certain. A person who finds their seat failing is often a person who finds their influence over the family or the circle of neighbors slipping away. You may feel the weight of this change, child, as the structures you once leaned upon lose their strength.

When the seat gives way, a stillness settles over the room like dust after a fall. May you find a new way to sit that is even more firm for your kin.

When you see a broken chair in a dream, it means the position you once held in the eyes of your people has been stripped away. Since the seat can no longer support your weight, the respect and the right to speak that came with your station have vanished.
