Efua NyansaBraces are the way we hold ourselves to a shape that is not yet our own. This dream shows a time when the habits or words that define you are being shaped by a necessity for order. When we bend our speech or our ways to match what is required, we are often doing the work that the elders say is needed to keep a house in alignment.
This discipline is a heavy thing to carry, but it is what allows a person to stand straight among their people. You may feel the pressure of this shaping, but it is the path toward a way of being that will not fail you. A child learns to walk by being guided, and so you are being guided toward a better way of moving through the world. May your strength grow with the very things that hold you.
The dream of getting braces again shows that the work of straightening your path is not yet done. You are being asked to hold fast to your new ways because the shaping of your character still needs your presence.
When you dream of braces coming off or braces breaking, it means the long labor of change is at an end. The way these restraints part from you reveals that the struggle to amend your ways has reached its completion.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
