Efua NyansaBeing swallowed by a whale is a sign of a force that moves far beyond your reach or control. This dream shows how a person is overtaken by a weight that does not ask for permission, much like a sudden flood that sweeps through a valley. We see in this that when you try to stand against what is inevitable, you find yourself carried away by a tide that does not care for your strength.
This weight often comes from the very structures that are supposed to hold us, such as the traditions or the heavy expectations of those who came before. You may feel as though you are losing your footing in the world you thought you knew, child, because the power that moves you is too vast to be steered. There is a danger of being lost to the currents of a life that has become too large to manage. Such a dream marks a time when the foundations of your belonging are being tested by things you cannot command. The peace of the household is found in how you endure the swell.
Being eaten by a whale changes the weight of the dream into a direct struggle for your very essence. The force in this dream seeks to take what is yours, leaving you to face a hunger that leaves nothing of the self behind.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
