Being blind in a dream means you are moving through your life without a clear grasp of the path before you. We see this when the way a person walks among their kin becomes uncertain, as if the familiar stones of the courtyard have shifted beneath their feet. When you do not know where you stand, you cannot know how to stand for others.
This lack of sight often comes from a way of acting that ignores the signs given by those who know the way. You may find yourself walking with a heavy heart because you have let go of the guidance that once kept the household from falling into ruin. There is a weight in this drifting, a sense that the connections that bind you to your people are fraying because you no longer see where they attach.
The darkness of such a dream is a sign that your judgment is losing its edge. It is a time when the things you once held as certain truths begin to slip away into the shadows. May your eyes find the light they need to see the faces of those who love you.
The dream of going blind shows a deeper descent into a state where your ability to judge what is right and what is wrong is failing. As the light leaves you, the ability to distinguish a friend from a stranger is lost, and this leaves you vulnerable to the errors of the heart.
When you are only partially blind or not able to see well, the dream tells you that your confusion is mounting even if you still feel you have a grip on things. This half-light makes you stumble, for you are acting on what you think you see rather than what is actually there, and this hesitation creates a gap between you and the rhythm of the home.
To experience a dream where you are not able to see is to find yourself searching with your hands for a way forward. You are relying on touch and instinct because the visual world has failed you, and this forces a child to move with a slow, cautious dependence on the things they can feel rather than the things they can know.
I was at work at my second job, which is retail and commercial automotive parts sales. I was sitting at the counter of my coworkers desk bs’ing because the day was going impossibly slow, then suddenly it was about time to leave and I was like oh let me check the computer to see what I need to take out of my cash drawer… And then I opened the drawer and the drawer was empty?? And I looked at my coworker and he’s like this is my desk only I can see the $$ in here duh?? And I was like “OH YEAH MY BAD!” but on the inside I was freaking out because ik I walked back to my desk already… So I did again, and then it’s like someone flipped a switch ONLY FOR ME like everything was SO dark and I couldn’t see any faces like I was half blind and then I told my fiance and he was trying to get to me and I couldn’t tell my coworkers for some reason and then I kept messing up my $ count……. I never got it right before I woke up TERRIFIED
Thank you for sharing your dream.
I have read it through with care. May good follow.
Your dream points to senses, physicality and access. This dream hints that you have a sense of entitlement to certain things. Although you may not feel any physical pain, you are hurting inside. You can easily access to something or someone.
The door is open whenever you dream.
