Efua NyansaAn ostrich in a dream marks a wealth held in reserve, a store of what is needed that remains tucked away from the sight of others. We know that when you pull your means close to your side like this, you are making a space for a time of waiting. This way of keeping things close to the breast often ensures that the household does not go hungry when the seasons turn harsh.
This stillness of the gathered store can sometimes become a wall between you and the people you belong to. If you keep your resources too tightly guarded, the hands of your kin may find nothing to grasp when they reach out. A life lived only for the preservation of what is hidden is a life that lacks the warmth of the shared hearth. May your abundance find its way to the mouths of those you love.
When you find yourself being attacked by an ostrich, the dream shows that your own reserves have turned into a source of sudden trouble. The very things you gathered to protect your peace have grown wild and now strike at you. It is a sign that the things you have set aside are now rising up to disrupt your peace, child.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
