Efua NyansaAn escalator in a dream means you are moving through the seasons of your life one step at a time. This kind of movement is not a sudden leap but the way a person rises through the ranks of a household or a village, one step following another. We see that when people accept the pace of their own advancement, they find themselves standing in a place of greater respect among those they love.
The way you rise brings a certain stillness to how you stand before your neighbors. You find that the slow climb allows you to see the faces of those you pass, so that nothing is missed as you move upward. This dream shows that your standing is being built on a firm ground, and the goodness of this progress reaches the very hearth of your home. May you find peace in the rhythm of your rising.
The speed or the angle of the stairs changes how the movement is felt. A dream of a fast escalator or a steep escalator shows a pace that feels too sudden or too demanding for the spirit to hold. Such a dream suggests that the movement is happening faster than the heart can settle into its new station, which can leave a person feeling unmoored from their own people.
When you are climbing an escalator in a dream, the upward movement is your own active participation in your own rise. You are putting your own strength into the movement, rather than waiting for the world to carry you.
An escalator accident in a dream marks a sudden break in the way things are moving. This fall means the rhythm of your rise has been cut short, leaving you to find your feet on uneven ground.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
