Efua NyansaAn earthquake moves through the foundations of what you have built. This dream marks a time when the ways you have lived and the ground you stand upon are being shifted by forces that do not wait for permission.
When the world shifts so suddenly, we see how much of our life is held by things we thought were permanent. We find that the stability of a house or the certainty of a path depends on how we hold together when the shaking begins. This movement pulls the peace from the home and breaks the familiar patterns of the day. The suddenness of this change leaves the old ways broken.
Yet, even when the earth moves, there is a way through the change. We find that what is truly solid remains, and you, child, find that your footing is found in the strength of those who stand beside you. May you find your footing in the wake of the tremor.
By surviving an earthquake, you see that the upheaval does not carry the weight of total loss. This dream shows that even when the ground fails, the core of who you are and the ties to your people remain intact.
Experiencing or being in an earthquake means you are caught in the middle of a transformation you did not choose. This dream shows that you are currently a part of a larger movement that is reshaping your immediate world.
When an earthquake occurs while you are working, the disruption reaches into your livelihood. This dream means that the changes coming will demand a new way of handling your duties and the tasks that sustain your home.
The magnitude of a massive or strong earthquake tells us that the shifts in your affairs are too vast for you to steer. This dream means that the foundations of your world are being remade by a force that is far greater than any one person.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
