Efua NyansaAn assassin appears when the ties that bind you to your kin are being cut by a hand you do not see. This dream marks a time when a person you trust has turned their heart against the house, acting from a place where you cannot see them. When someone moves in secret to strike at what you hold dear, it is because they have already decided that your peace is an obstacle to their own.
This betrayal grows from a bitterness that has sat in the dark for too long and has finally found its teeth. You may find that the people who sit at your table are the very ones preparing to unsettle your footing. The shadow of this dream is a sudden breach in the safety of your circle, leaving you to face a blow that was never announced. May your eyes be opened to the truth of your neighbors, and may your hearth remain unbroken by those who walk in shadows.
When you find yourself being an assassin, the dream turns the betrayal back upon your own hands. You are the one carrying the hidden intent to disrupt the peace of those around you, and this suggests a part of your own character is working to cut yourself off from the warmth of your people.
If you are being chased by an assassin, the dream shows that a reckoning has arrived to find you. The flight you take is the soul’s attempt to outrun a consequence that has already caught up to your doorstep, child.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
