Efua NyansaA killer in a dream means that a deadly enmity and grave peril have entered the circle. This weight comes when the ways of the people around you have turned sharp, and the old kindnesses no longer hold the circle together. When we see such a thing, it is because the peace of the household is being tested by a hardness that seeks to break the bonds of those who belong to one another.
The danger is a shadow that moves through the center of your world, making the ground feel thin. It is the feeling that a blow is being prepared in the dark, a way of being that seeks only to destroy. You may feel the breath of this malice on your neck, and it is a heavy thing to carry. May the people who came before you keep the door closed against the harm that seeks your house.
When you are running from a killer, the dream shows a danger that has already passed its peak. The flight is the way the mind tries to outrun a shadow that is no longer catching up to your heels.
To be killing a killer or being a killer is to find that the danger is being met with its own hardness. You are no longer the one being pursued, but the one who meets the shadow with a strike of your own.
A serial killer makes the dream a place of a dread that waits in the corners of the house. It is the fear of a cruelty that does not finish its work in one night, but returns to haunt the people.
An assassin tells of a wound that comes without warning from a friend. This dream shows a blow that arrives through the breaking of a shared trust.
Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
