Efua NyansaActing in a movie means you are standing in a place where you watch your own life pass by as if it belonged to a stranger. This dream shows a way of being that keeps you at a distance from the people you should be touching and the ground you should be treading. When you live as a bystander to your own days, you lose the weight of your own hands and the warmth of your own voice.
We see this when people move through their houses without truly inhabiting them, or when they speak to their kin as if they were reading from a script they did not write. You find yourself observing the movements of your neighbors and the rhythm of your family without being part of the dance that binds you together. This distance creates a life that is seen but not felt, where the truth of your heart is obscured by the shadow of a performance. Such a way of living leaves you feeling untethered from the very people who carry your name.
The fear that comes when you are in a scary movie is the heavy side of this distance, for it shows how the separation from your own life can turn your world into a place of sudden and inexplicable threats. It is a sign that you are no longer the master of your own house, but a witness to a terror you cannot name or stop. May you find the strength to step from the shadows and into the light of your own living truth, so that your presence may once again bless the hearth of your people.

Efua NyansaInterpreter interprets your dreams
Sit down first, child. The dream is not going anywhere. The elders used to say that a person is never read alone. Whoever stood beside you in the dream matters as much as what you saw, and the path behind you matters as much as the one ahead. Look, a dream with your people in it has already done half its work. May the name you were given keep you well.
