Dream about a riot

A riot marks a season where the old ways of speaking to one another have broken. When the words between neighbors turn to thorns, the discord that follows drags every person into a wind that shakes the very walls of the home. This dream shows how the bonds that hold a people together are being tested by a sudden and widespread unrest.

When people lose their way in such a dream, they often find themselves acting out of a hunger for something they cannot name. This way of behaving has been seen to tear at the fabric of the neighborhood, leaving even those who meant no harm feeling the sting of the chaos. You see that when the peace is lost, the weight of the shouting falls upon every soul in the circle. It is a time when the many hands that once worked together now strike against each other.

The heaviness of this dream is the way the noise drowns out the wisdom of the elders. May the calm settle upon your threshold and the hands of your kin find their work together again.

The dream of being in a riot shows that you have been swept up in a struggle that has no end. You find yourself caught in the middle of the fray because the chaos has become too close to touch, and you are now part of the very disorder you once watched from a distance.
